第四季不但是新車上市的旺季，也是所有車商努力爭取業績的最後階段，代理韓國現代汽車的王記汽車公司除推出 Hyundai Accent 1.5改款新車外，並宣布自即日起與大潤發系統(包括大潤發、亞太量販、大買家)量販店正式展開長期策略合作。即日起大潤發系統量販店全省十六個賣場將長期展售Accent 1.5改款新車，此舉除將開創汽車販售通路的革命性記錄外，消費者也因此得以比原售價低約一成左右的價格，買到此新款Hyundai Accent 1.5，至年底前預計銷售量為單月250輛。
榮獲美國消費者文摘評選為「最安全的小車」的Hyundai Accent 1.5，曾於接受「美國國家公路交通安全管理委員會」(NHTSA)所舉辦的「新車評價」(New Car Assessment program)測試的四十九款同級車中，脫穎而出榮獲安全評鑑第一名。此次所推出的Hyundai Accent 1.5千禧年改款車，除仍以完美的鋼性車身，架構高防護性的鋼性安全車籠外，更以低於改款前約一成的售價，提供更精緻的內裝，包括真皮椅座、核桃木紋飾板，及更優質的配備包括置杯架、檔泥板、霧燈等，提供消費者更安全舒適的駕車感受。

在全面安全防護方面，Hyundai Accent 1.5比同款車具更強的引擎與行李箱防護效果，在碰撞時以預定的方式皺摺，吸收強大的撞擊力。所有的車門更提供雙防撞鋼樑及一體成型的架框，提供最佳的防護效果，而一體成型的雙層前保險桿，更提供正面35英哩的保護設計。這些安全防護的精良設計，提供穿梭於忙碌車潮中的新鮮開車族，無後顧之憂的最佳保護。
