    Elantra發表會的神祕嬌客!現代旗艦Equus再度露臉

在九月30日現代Elantra新車發表的台北市交通博物館現場,由於韓國現代原廠副總裁親自到場,三陽/南陽也派出現代旗下最高等級的房車旗艦Equus迎接,表示其慎重的高規格接待禮儀,事實上已經成為三陽/南陽董事長黃世惠的這輛座車,在韓國車壇有著無與倫比的崇高地位,連韓國大統領都指定乘坐現代Equus表示對自家造車工藝的強烈自信。

早在1999年漢城車展所推出的現代房車旗艦Equus,不僅當初與三菱共同開發(三菱在日本國內也有雙生車型),因應其頂級行政座駕的市場定位,在韓國當地還推出標準車型(5065×1860×1465mm)與加長型(5335×1875×1475mm)兩種車身形式,當然咱們黃董所乘坐的是加長型,更能彰顯其身份與地位,而車名Equus的五個字母則各具有含意(Excellent、Quality、Unique、Universal、Supreme),當然也象徵現代造車工藝的頂尖與卓越。

造型十分方正厚實的Equus,當然除了寬闊的車身尺碼以外,車室配備也領導韓系車風騷,諸如高檔的真皮原木內裝、DVD車用影音系統與GPS衛星導航、全車分區控制恆溫空調、後座獨立式電動調整總裁級座椅等均赫然在列,此外安全防護系統方面,從包括側邊氣簾的六只防護氣囊(含智慧型兩段式爆發偵測裝置),到ABS+EBD+TCS的完整主動性防護系統,以及由現代自家研發的VDC電子車身動態偵測穩定裝置均在配備清單之列。

動力系統方面,黃董所乘坐的車型搭載的是一具與美規XG350相同的3.5升V6引擎,至於韓國本土還備有一具三菱技術合作開發的4.5升V8引擎,導入三菱最引以為傲的GDI缸內直噴技術之後,可迸發出260hp/5000rpm的最大馬力,以及38.8kgm/3500rpm的峰值扭力,這也是創下全球排氣量最高記錄的直噴汽油動力系統,推出當時還被各界喻為是韓國版LS430,可見Equus在韓國造車領域中所樹立的重要地位。
