    現代全球戰略小型房車Accent小改款全美上市!

還記得AutoNet在去年11月26日為網友搶先報導現代Accent小改款發表的消息嗎?說時遲那時快﹐現代已經正在北美販售這輛以豐田Echo為主要對手的小型入門級房車了﹐而且基本售價僅有8200美元﹐看來北美的汽車消費者還是比較幸福!

為了區隔歐洲版與北美版本的差異﹐2003年式的Accent還是採用線條較為繁複的水箱護罩﹐以營造較為繽紛的視覺感受﹐大體上來說已經跳脫日系對手過於平實的產品包裝﹐則加大的頭燈組與水箱罩的面積﹐造型上更向兄長Elantra的風格靠攏﹐不過最大的改變則是換上了Elantra車系的1.6升引擎﹐不過因應不同市場對於稅賦規定的門檻所致 ﹐這具直列四缸引擎的最大馬力(歐規版本)限制在77hp/5800rpm﹐峰值扭力則為145kgm/3000rpm﹐顯然更注重的是中低轉速的扭力輸出表現﹐根據原廠公佈0-100km/h的起步加速數據僅需10.3秒(五速手排車型)﹐平均油耗可達到17.2km/l的優異水準。

但是真正對敵人造成壓力的Accent﹐應該是入門款的1.5升車型﹐雖然沿用的是與2002年式相同的1.5升直列四缸DOHC 16V引擎﹐92hp的最大馬力搭配五速手排變速系統﹐或是雙模式四速自排(Eco、Sport)在市區行駛可以說相當的愜意﹐而經過原廠針對變速系統齒輪比﹐以及中低轉速引擎動力輸出的重新調校﹐無論是再加速表現或是引擎運轉精緻度﹐都有出人意表的提升﹐加上低到不行的售價﹐以即將前雙座氣囊、ABS列為標準配備的大手筆﹐Accent肯定擁有更讓對手膽寒的競爭能力!
