一輛中大型房車的動態表現應該如何?全然滿足駕駛人的快感﹐不見得能夠取悅全車乘員的行車感受﹐能夠讓前後座乘客都能在行車過程中﹐同等體驗高質感的行車旅程﹐恐怕才是一輛稱職的中大型房車應該堅守其產品定位所應達到的境界………..。

現代XG不動的時候﹐已經展露出同級車中難得一件優雅氣質﹐那麼動態表現呢?從動力規格看來﹐為了達成高靜肅性與高質感的引擎運轉品質﹐現代為XG導入一具2.0升V6引擎﹐加上從基本料件設計就為了達成最佳運轉品質的最高指導原則﹐這具引擎儘管擁有的動力輸出數據(最大馬力148hp/6300rpm﹐峰值扭力為18.3kgm/4000rpm)﹐搭配一具現代原廠稱為H-Matic的四速手自排變速系統﹐不僅動力傳輸品質相當優異﹐而引擎運轉的精緻度與隔音品質﹐更可以說是同排氣量國產房車中的翹楚﹐速度感應式動力方向盤輔助力道適中﹐而油門踏板居然擁有彷彿德式高級房車的配置﹐不但不容易在起步時出現明顯的頓挫與車身不安定感﹐即使到了中高轉速仍然保持極為從容的姿態-穩定而和諧﹐極速狂奔也應該維持應有的優雅﹐這一點現代XG做到了。
