    底特律車展報導:HYUNDAI HCD8預視下一代Coupe的未來?!

自從韓國現代車廠推出Coupe 這輛轎跑車以來,國內引進過的上一代車系,也曾經取代三菱日蝕,成為國內最為暢銷的國民跑車,這一代因為報價較高,反而成為稀有品種,不過偶爾在街上看到一輛,還真讓人無法忘記那酷似FERRARI 456GT的身影,不過在本屆底特律車展上所推出的HCD8概念車,則向世人展現了未來Coupe這款車的可能走向!

HCD8是由現代加州產品設計中心操刀,雖然原廠表示這是一款雙門跑車的概念車,但是就草圖來看,更像是一款雙門Crossover變種跑車,這也是近來HYUNDAI車廠所積極努力的方向,也就是朝著性能與多用途的方面發展,以塑造其特有的品牌形象;動力方面,HYUNDAI車廠將以現行Coupe頂級車型那具2.7升V6引擎安裝在HCD8身上(國內僅引進2.0聲車型),加裝機械增壓系統並重新調教,預料將可輸出230hp以上的馬力﹔而基於HYUNDAI車廠極力於提昇品牌形象的理由,為了加速產品線的進化,HCD8也很可能成為HYUNDAI Coupe的後繼車型。

由於平價跑車市場不斷萎縮,現代原廠也一直苦思未來Coupe車系的走向,而HCD8提出了一個新方向,就是未來化融入Crossover特質的GT轎跑車,所以將來Coupe很有可能愈來愈大,而反而跳脫現有的平價跑車級距,大量利用高科技配備(包括DVD影音娛樂系統與衛星導航等),以及淺色真皮與金屬飾板所營造的寬廣車室,也愈來愈具有高級GT轎跑車的架式,而較多元化的後座椅變化模式,也是HCD8對於車壇Crossover潮流的回應,同時暗示了下一代Coupe將追加全時四輪驅動的可能性,無論如何請靜待本報有關HYUNDAI Coupe的後續發展!
