雖然總代理南陽實業，已經終止了Atos車系的引進，不過這輛HYUNDAI旗下入門的乘用車系，不僅在印度等地成為銷售量最大的車款，也將在九月開幕的2005法蘭克福國際車展中正式推出小改車系！
雖然車身靈巧，這輛小車可是為現代汽車開疆拓土的大功臣，在九月即將到來的法蘭克福國際車展中，2006年式的小改款車系，不僅換上重新設計的車頭與車尾，也大幅提昇產品包裝的精緻度，以跳脫入門小車的陽春感，而且新年式也提供稱為DynamicVersion、First Edition與ActiveVersion三種等級。
動力系統方面，小改款的HYUNDAI Atos引擎的主力，也就是排氣量為1.1升的直列四缸引擎，最大馬力也由增加5hp到63hp的境界，峰值扭力也提升到9.89kgm左右，原廠表示手排款的起步加速0-100km/h已經提前至15.2秒即可達成，安全極速也提升至146 km/h的水準，另外每行駛百公里的耗油表現，也由原有的5.9公升，降低到5.5公升，建議售價則由8995歐元起跳，並且由車展發表後開始於歐洲市場銷售！
