不久之前，我們才報導過全新一代的HYUNDAI NF Sonata車系，在美國榮獲年度風雲車的獎項，結果這下子又獲得其他單位的垂青，再度拿下美國Kiplinger's Personal Finance財經雜誌的兩項大獎！
根據美國Kiplinger's Personal Finance財經雜誌的一項評選，2006年式的美規HYUNDAI NF Sonata車系，同時獲得了「最佳家庭房車」與「最佳新車」兩大獎項，並且將這項評選的結果，公布於該雜誌12月號以專題作為報導，而且Kiplinger's Personal Finance財經雜誌更認為Sonata已經為二萬美元等級的汽車，建立了全新的級距標準。
在這項評選中，HYUNDAI Sonata與45輛2006年式新車共同角逐這項評選，而該級距是以售價介於1.8-2.3萬美元作為區間，對手也頗為強勁，包括豐田Camry、本田Accord、日產Altima與福特Fusion等車，而Kiplinger's Personal Finance財經雜誌對於北美現代，讓Sonata車系全面將ABS+EBD+TCS+ESP整合動態穩定系統，加上全車六具防護氣囊等列為標準配備，這項同級車的創舉更令Kiplinger's Personal Finance財經雜誌讚譽有加，認為北美現代為2006年式的家庭房車的安全標準創下新紀錄，也讓該級距的安全配置，受到前所未有的重視，而這項改變更將成為影響該級距目標客層所注重的焦點。
這輛新車，也將在年底的台北車展中，首度由三陽現代引進參展！
