自從韓國現代汽車，以Crossover之名推出新型態運動休旅車款Tucson之後，不但在全球各主要汽車市場獲取銷售佳績之外，最近更有新創舉！
根據最新消息顯示，一個為數六輛車的HYUNDAI Tucson車隊，日前成功完成了橫渡非洲大陸的創舉，總里程數更達到6200公里！
這個以六輛HYUNDAI Tucson為主的越野車隊，日前完成由印度洋沿岸成功抵達大西洋沿岸的創舉，並且跨越包括熱帶高原、沙漠與雨林等惡劣環境，這項稱為"Tucson Coast-to-Coast"的行動，不僅證明了產品設計的優異表現，也證明了現代原廠生產車輛的耐用程度，在6200公里的長途越野行程中，六輛車僅有兩具輪胎更換過，三具空器濾清器更換乙次，總行程花了這個車隊22天的時間。
