    HYUNDAI要出皮卡?

在本屆底特律北美國際車展中,HYUNDAI以發表Santa Fe車系,作為向包括豐田Highlander與日產Murano開砲的全新Crossover產品,同時也等於宣告未來將全面進軍CUV市場!


KIA KCV4-Mojave
從Tucson首度以CUV名號,在全球汽車市場締造相當優異的銷售成績之後,HYUNDAI汽車集團對於北美汽車市場的消費趨勢,幾乎已經了然於胸,而在本屆底特律北美國際車展,現場更傳出HYUNDAI未來關於非傳統乘用車產品的大八卦!

由於原本Tucson賣得嚇嚇叫,而且Santa Fe極具競爭力的條件,也被視為是北美休閒車市場的明日之星,所以接下來原廠將諭令北美產品設計中心,將推出針對北美市場開發的休閒皮卡,概念原型在去年的北美國際車展也已經出現過,並且以KIA KCV4-Mojave的名義亮相,這也代表未來旗下的HYUNDAI與KIA兩大品牌也將分別推出休閒皮卡或被歸類為SUT的新車!

由於前兩年,包括日產、豐田、三菱與本田,也均針對北美市場推出休閒皮卡車系,預計在未來兩年內,市場觀察家預估至少有二成的北美皮卡市場,將拱手讓給非北美品牌,而業界也一致認為HYUNDAI推出皮卡,更將加速北美皮卡市場非美國品牌的市場佔有率。

根據美國官方統計數據,光是去年日產與豐田皮卡的銷售量(45.5萬輛新車),就比2004年成長15%,而且HYUNDAI預計今年在全美的市場佔有率,也可能首度突破一成,若未來加入全新的皮卡車系,市場佔有率的提升速度勢必加快!
