瞄準Prius！HYUNDAI聯手LG進軍雙動力領域！

最近幾年，雙動力Hybrid被豐田與本田吵地沸沸揚揚，似乎全球車壇都已經被Hybrid的魔力給吸引住囉！

HYUNDAI Accent
|
根據最新消息，除了豐田與本田兩大雙動力巨擘（許多車廠的Hybrid都與他們合作！）之外，韓國最大的HYUNDAI汽車集團，日前已經與同樣是韓國的LG集團，正式合作為打造韓國首輛量產Hybrid汽車而努力！
HYUNDAI將計畫以新一代Accent車系打造的量產化Hybrid汽車，將採用LG Chem公司所開發的雙動力整合系統，這家公司也將製造新一代的鋰錳電池，供應量產的Accnet Hybrid使用，雙方並且積極與美國的USABC電力能源研究機構（United States Advanced Battery Consortium）合作。
事實上，由LG Chem所研發的鋰錳電池，曾經在2002年創下美國Pikes Peak爬山賽的紀錄，當時搭載LG Chem電力系統的賽車，還以15分鐘18.64秒的成績抵達山頂的佳績1999年由本田所創下的紀錄，由此可知現代集團攜手LG進軍全球雙動力車市場的時間已經不遠了，而且Accent Hybrid量產後當然就以豐田Prius為首要對手！
