HONDA才要在越南投資汽車，HYUNDAI早卡好位

VINAMOTOR (越南汽車總公司) ，在越南的Bac Giang省投資了一家新廠房─Dong Vang I汽車生產廠，已經開幕，投資金額大約1,500萬美元，由韓國車廠HYUNDAI提供生產技術轉移。
該公司已在2004年與韓國HYUNDAI集團簽訂了專案生產技術轉讓合同，因此HYUNDAI集團將轉讓大轎車、卡車底盤車架生產和組裝，中巴車、微型轎車組裝，汽車發動機組裝等生產技術；預計每年VINAMOTOR將生產掛上HYUNDAI品牌的汽車，大約生產3000輛25至29個座位的客運車及5000輛貨運車，品質大概相當於南韓生產的品質，而且雙方還簽訂了引擎生技術轉移合作書。
VINAMOTOR主要組裝生產貨運車、客運車及公車，其價格比同類進口車少30%；VINAMOTOR總經理Nguyen Van Khoa表示，VINAMOTOR將繼續興建HYUNDAI汽車引擎生產廠、16座位以下汽車廠以及汽車玻璃廠。
