現代汽車集團最近不斷加速投資歐洲市場的進度，繼在倫敦國際車展發表了將在斯洛伐克新廠投產的KIA ED 新世代掀背車款之後，日前再度宣布將在捷克建立全新生產據點！
根據原廠資料顯示，HYUNDAI投資了1300萬歐元將在捷克Nosovice地方建立全新生產據點，這也將大幅提昇未來HYUNDAI汽車在歐洲市場搶攻佔有率的力道，除此之外現代集團也建立了“Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech”（現代捷克汽車製造廠）新公司，預計2008年十月將在竣工後啟用，生產專供歐洲市場銷售的新車。
根據現代集團表示，該廠建成後初期將影擁有20萬輛的年產能，除了生產傳統房車之外也將生產SUV，而且也將年產60萬具變速箱，此外2011年的二期擴建工程，該廠產能將提升至30萬輛左右，並且將導入新款的MPV轎旅車投產。
捷克新廠落成將創造至少3500個工作機會，加上周邊協力廠商等投資，設立該廠周邊投資將達到2.5億歐元，而周邊協力廠與相關投資效應，也將帶來一萬個以上的工作機會。
這項計畫，是在倫敦國際車展時，由現代歐洲副總裁Gerry Dorizas向媒體界正式宣佈，他同時表示現代汽車期待2010年在歐洲的汽車銷售量可以達成提升一倍的目標！
