五家南韓車廠在星期一的時候共同發出聲明，在經歷過罷工之後，上個月的銷售量終於一吐之前的霉氣，創下了國內外的新高！
HUNDAI、KIA、DAEWOO、TECHNOLOGY、SSANGYOUNG以及RENAULT SAMSUNG上個月的銷售量為547,371輛，比去年同時段成長了43.2%。而南韓汽車工業的龍頭老大HYUNDAI的成績更是突出，九月單月銷售量為264,014輛，比去年同期多出了47.1%。國內銷售量累積成績為56,093輛，其中207,921輛為出口。整體來看，也就是說南韓製造的出口車成長了75%，而海外組裝廠的銷售量則攀升了29.9%。
HYUNDAI的發言人強調，在罷工停止之後，南韓原本滯留不前的汽車市場終於得到舒解，銷售量也一股做氣的向上爬升，讓車市恢復了往常的景氣。緊追在HYUNDAI之後的KIA，九月份的銷售量比去年同期成長了66.8%至116,411輛的成績，國內的的銷售量成長了44.2%至13,003輛，出口的部分也有124,185輛的成績，上揚26.1%。
