早在一年多年，AutoNet便以搶先報導了有關於HYUNDAI旗艦房車Equus大改款的消息，終於在2007一開始，就讓我們捕捉到了Equus的最新動態！

向BMW七夕列看齊的造形設計，也展現了Equus進軍頂級市場的決心。
|
相信AutoNet忠實讀者絕對了解，近幾年來HYUNDAI帶頭的韓系車廠，在全球所散發出的可觀能量，不但讓目前最強勢的TOYOTA集團也要畏懼三分，一票老字號的歐美高級品牌，也十分關心HYUNDAI的動態，畢竟在HYUNDAI近幾年來的全面提升動作影響下，無論是車型級距的創新開發、或是質與量的同步前進的動作，從平價定位到頂尖品牌，全都在HYUNDAI射程範圍內！
說到了頂級級距，當然就不能忘了HYUNDAI Equus的動作，預計將於2008年推出全新大改款車型的Equus，目前已在美國底特律近郊捕捉到偽裝車的測試動作，也表示了Equus距離正式量產時間已不遠矣！既然將身披2008年新車問世，那也就表示今年度的任何一個國際車展中，Equus都有機會現身囉！
在現身前，根據間諜照顯示，全新Equus雖然全車包得密不透風，但C柱的設計卻透露了向BMW七系列看齊的動作，而車身尺碼的提升，也展現了Equus向上挑戰的決心；為對應此龐大的身軀，Equus將如先前所預料的，擁有V6與V8兩動力心臟可供選擇，前者就是目前搭載於美規Azera上的3.8升V6新引擎，而後者雖然尚未公佈，但相信也將有全新科技上的突破！
