HYUNDAI 2006年於北美市場中有著顯著成長。
|
對於2007年的發展，韓國最大汽車集團HYUNDAI汽車可是擁有十足野心，不過能有此信心，當然歸功於2006年的大幅成長，以全球競爭最激烈的北美市場而言，於2006年一整年，HYUNDAI便累積了455,520輛的總銷售量，更創下了連續八年的成長佳績！
於2006年結束的最後一個月中，HYUNDAI北美藉由著2007年式樣的Accent與全新世代Santa Fe，兩雄帶領之下衝出了37,365輛的12月份銷售總量，兩款車分別擁有66%與121%的成長幅度。
雖然整體銷售紀錄是成長的，不過北美HYUNDAI營運長Steve Wilhite表示：「在我們慶祝2006年銷售成長的同時，其實我們仍有著些許的失望，我們並無達到當初所訂下的銷售目標；不過HYUNDAI對於品質的改善方面倒是有不共賭，且持續增進所有車款的安全科技，相信在此紮根動作下，對於2007年的雙倍成長動作，相信有重要的幫助。」
