油價漲，原料漲，什麼都要漲，買一輛車除了車價支出外，還有各項規費與保險支出等等，這還不算燃料成本與保修成本，不過根據最新消息，來自英國的RACV財團法人車輛研究機構表示，在澳洲境內所販售的新車中，HYUNDAI Getz綜合說來可以說是一輛無論是購車或是用車成本都最低的超值選擇！
與台灣市場由三陽現代導入國產化的新一代小改款Getz車系，在澳洲當地當然也有販售，根據最新的油價與澳洲當地政府規定的相關稅賦與規費等等成本加總，在當地養乙輛HYUNDAI一週平均僅需花費116.54澳幣，在所有小型車中拿下第一，不過比去年最便宜的KIA Rio略多出.5.34澳幣。
這項由澳洲獨立單位RACV所舉行的養車成本大調查中，總共包含有10個當地主要市場級距的37款最暢銷新車，RACV公布全澳洲單位養車成本最高的車款，則由TOYOTA Land Cruiser的每週357.51澳幣拿下。
至於澳洲人一向相當喜愛的大型房車中，養車成本最低的算是MITSUBISHI 380房車，每週養車成本約為200.44澳幣，不過養車成本比起去年增加了4.46澳幣。
這項活動由澳洲獨立研究調查單位RACV主辦，在三月與四月份正式執行，並且以行駛里程約每年1.5萬公里的新車為準。
此外，在最近幾年相當熱門的油電混合動力汽車方面，RACV表示最省錢的就是HONDA Civic Hybrid（每週154.06澳幣），比起全球銷售量最高的油電混合車TOYOTA Prius省了不少。
