〈快訊〉HYUNDAI Sonata即將在泰國現地生產

根據韓國汽車業龍頭HYUNDAI自動車表示，今年稍晚將正式由韓國本土晚出口汽車套件至泰國，由當地的總代理日商ShojitzCorp與泰商公司以70-30比例合資成立的HMT負責，並且將在泰國ThonburiAutomotive代工組裝。
根據韓國原廠表示，ThonburiAutomotive的年產能約為二千輛左右，以進軍當地因為經濟高度發展不斷提升的中型家庭房車市場，在1997年亞洲金融風暴後，HYUNDAI迄今仍為導入組件在當地組裝成車，這次的動作被泰國車壇視為是HYUNDAI重返東協汽車市場一個相當重要的起點。
