根據最新消息指出，為了在未來競爭更為激烈的歐洲汽車市場中卡位，在日前於本屆法蘭克福國際車展上發表iBlue跨界燃料電池休旅車的HYUNDAI自動車，正式表示將在2010年以前大舉進軍當地的低排放環保汽車市場。
根據HYUNDAI原廠表示，除了積極促成本屆車展主秀iBlue燃料電池概念車的成功量產外，未來HYUNDAI集團也將整合全球研發設計資源，並且以推出符合歐盟最新環保標準的新車為戰略目標，包括計畫在明年導入銷售的Accent Hybrid與更多新世代節能柴油車款，都將成為未來數年內HYUNDAI訴求歐洲市場經營的重點。
