    韓國汽車遭受外來強敵威脅!

韓國的進口車銷售表現越來越搶眼。今年一至十月韓國當地共計售出43492輛進口新車,與去年同時段相比成長了32%,如果繼續維持此成長趨勢,相信今年的進口車總銷售量將會突破50000輛,成為有史以來進口車在韓國表現最「優」的一年。

從成長率來看,韓國車廠HYUNDAI和KIA在同一時段的表現分別是9.6%和2.5%,皆不及進口車的爬升速度,長久下來對韓國車市會造成怎樣的影響,的確令人擔憂。進口車在1987年進軍韓國時,渡過了一段起步維艱的歲月。當年在市場剛剛對外開放時,德國M-BENZ是唯一能在韓國銷售汽車的車廠,當時銷售數字只有10輛。

進口車花了16年的時間,才佔領了1%的韓國汽車市場,不過等到一切都上軌道之後,進口車現在有如神助,在韓國市場的表現越來越亮眼。2004年銷售量超過20000輛,從那時候開始每年銷售量會成長10000輛。除了銷售輛有所改變之外,進口車的種類也有別於以往,從最早的豪華高級車,到現在大量生產的平價車款,禁口車早已不再是「昂貴」的代名詞。

在一月至十月份的進口車銷售量之中,引擎小於3000cc的中小型汽車佔進口車總銷售量的65%,而高級車款只佔10%。最受歡迎的進口車是日本的HONDA,銷售量為去年的兩倍,歐洲車PEUGEOT的銷售表現也不俗,成長率也是去年的兩倍。韓國VW負責人Park Dong-hoon表示,隨著進口車越來越受到韓國民眾喜愛,有越來越多的消費者偏好經濟實惠的車款,而非大型昂貴的汽車。
