根據最新統計數據顯示，HYUNDAI品牌旗下的當家中型房車Sonata車系，由進軍美國市場至今已經累積銷售達一百萬輛左右。

根據HYUNDAI美國分公司表示，早在1989年Sonata就成為HYUNDAI進軍美國市場的首款中型房車，此外現行銷售的NF車系，更成為第一款在美國境內投產的HYUNDAI Sonata新車，日前第一百萬輛Sonata更於North Little Rock地方交車，此外全新世代的2009年式小改款Sonata美規新車，也將在今年春季開幕的2008年芝加哥北美國際車展舉行首演。
