根據最新外電消息指出，韓國最大的HYUNDAI自動車位於印度的第二整車廠正式落成，並且也在日前進行竣工啟用儀式，預計該廠落成將有助於HYUNDAI自動車在印度當地的市場佔有率，以及未來出口整車能量的大幅提昇。
韓國HYUNDAI自動車營運總部表示，這座位於印度的第二整車廠，已經成為HYUNDAI在韓國本土以外的最大海外生產據點，也將讓HYUNDAI位於南亞地區的新車年產量提升至60萬輛以上，也讓該廠年產量超越原本最大的HYUNDAI美國廠，此外在該廠竣工後不久，今年稍晚HYUNDAI自動車也將於印度南部設立一座全新的研發設計中心。
