HYUNDAI汽車追求精緻品味的決心最近獲得印度政府的肯定。HYUNDAI Accent房車獲選為政府機關汽車選擇之ㄧ。
印度HYUNDAI最近表示，印度政府供應部門負責購買和品質鑑定的單位，認可Accent GLE的性能和品質，讓它和其他通過鑑定的車款，成為政府機關的指定用車。印度HYUNDAI資深副總Arvind Saxena表示 :「我們很高興榜上有名，並成為(印度)政府認可的車廠。」
Saxena強調印度對HYUNDAI來說是極為重要的市場，而中小型的Accent不但性能叫好，其省油的特性更是令人津津樂道。HYUNDAI Accent將會以特殊優惠價格，供印度政府機關選購。目前HYUNDAI不願透樂詳細的價格。
HYUNDAI這次獲選，也打破了MARUTI-SUZUKI獨霸政府中型車款名單的現象，2005年曾經獲得供應部門青睞的Esteem車款，現在被Accent取而代之。
