HYUNDAI要減肥？2015年達成新車減重省油目標！

在各國政府所制訂的法規，因為能源問題大幅提昇對於環保與節能要求的前提下，各大車廠也必然要朝向這樣的技術研發目標邁進，根據最新外電消息指出，韓國最大的HYUNDAI汽車廠，日前就正式宣佈將在2015年以前達成新一階段新車減重與節能的目標！

根據這項資料顯示，HYUNDAI目前美規乘用車系平均油耗表現，約為每公升汽油可跑13.7公里，SUV與跨界休旅車系平均油耗為每公升汽油可跑10.78公里，韓國HYUNDAI原廠希望，到了2015年時，美規乘用車平均每公升汽油可達15.8公里的水準，至SUV與跨界休旅車系，可達到每公升汽油跑出13.11公里的目標。
此外，除了車體結構將大量採用輕量化的材質外，在首先在車身部件中也將導入更多重量更輕但具備更高效能的設備，譬如提升照明系統使用LED的比例，除了可以降低整體部件的體積與重量外，LED本身低耗能的特點，也將有助於減輕車體負擔，而且未來也將大量採用電子控制的轉向結構，可以大幅降低機械結構對車體重量的負擔。
在動力系統方面，HYUNDAI計畫將旗下的汽油引擎全面直噴化，並且積極導入全新研發的六速自排變速系統等等技術，據估計兩者相互結合約可以節省約3-6個百分點的整體油耗，在二年內HYUNDAI旗下搭載V6引擎的汽車將全面搭載六速變速系統，此外搭載四缸引擎的車款，也將以全面升級搭配五速自排變速系統為目標。
