根據最新外電消息指出，HYUNDAI自動車今年上半年商用車出口無論是零組件或是整車均創下新高紀錄。
根據韓國原廠公布的統計數據顯示，今年上半年現代重車與客車等商用車整車出口業績，比去年上半年整整成長了75.9%，達到16791輛，創下建廠以來最高紀錄。
2003-2005年HYUNDAI汽車商用車重車與卡車出口數量分別11302輛、15475輛與19494輛，近五年完成呈現成長的態勢，而2007年更創下全年出口卡車與客車整車達到22055輛的新高紀錄。
此外，2008上半年卡車整車出口量為13137輛，比去年同期增加73.9%，客車出口增加83.5%，達到3654輛；此外CKD全散件組裝出口達到7094輛/組，比2007年上半年相比增加94.9%，將整車和CKD加總的2008年上半年商用車出口業績增加81.2%，達到23885輛。
除了重型商用車款外，中型與輕型商用車領域今年上半年業績表現也全面翻揚。
