綜觀近二年的台灣休旅車市場發展，不難發現因為油價不斷高漲的環境因素，加上市場競爭更是無比激烈，國產化唯一柴油跨界休旅車HYUNDAI Tucson VGTurbo，搭載著先進的柴油動力，不僅掀起了前所未有的柴油休旅風暴，而強悍的低速扭力，加上漂亮的油耗數據等，皆是Tucson VGTurbo於台灣車市中攻城掠地、深獲超過12000台車主青睞的本錢，不過又有新的好消息傳出：三陽現代宣布，從本週末開始，你又多了一個愛上HYUNDAI Tucson VGTurbo的理由囉！
對於消費者來說，選購一輛SUV無非看中超越傳統房車的自由度與多變的機能便利性，加上更寬廣的駕駛視野等等因素，不過因為油價高漲，2007年開始已經有更多的家庭用車買家開始將目光焦點朝向轎旅車，不過跨界休旅車擁有的優勢，就是可以結合傳統房車與旅行車的使用習慣，更融入運動休旅車款的多元化機能，顯見一輛傳統都會SUV要想持續受到消費者垂青，融入跨界休旅的設計特質與世界潮流已經成為必需。
為了提供消費者更經濟、更超值、更多面向的選擇性，Tucson VGTurbo柴油車款特別在暑假期間推出配備限量特選式樣新車：除了具備車用影音DVD影音系統+數位電視之外，也裝置了酷炫型防撞飾桿、鍍鉻後尾燈飾框、運動型彎管側踏及鍍鉻霧燈飾框，讓從裡到外都充滿仲夏歡樂休閒氣氛，並且提供消費者物超所值的多元消費選擇。

Tucson VGTurbo影音升級版﹝加裝：彎管側踏、數位電視、GPS﹞建議售價新台幣90.9萬元。
此外，為滿足不同需求，Tucson VGTurbo車系編成上同時提供具備黑色酷勁風格的高質感內裝，還有搭配不反光木紋飾板的米色真皮內裝兩種選擇，真正落實到對消費者的照顧。除了內裝設計上的選項，Tucson VGTurbo柴油車款搭載2.0升高科技柴油動力引擎，最大馬力為136hp/4000 rpm，峰值扭力高達31.1Kgm/2000 rpm，強大的高扭力輸出超過國內市售3.0L級的房車，直逼3.5L級。整體表現讓Tucson VGTurbo省油經濟性提高40%；扭力提升65%。加上VGTurbo系統的加持，相較傳統柴油引擎動力，最大馬力提升10-15%，扭力提升5-15%，燃油效率提升5-10%。
