全新都會小車HYUNDAI i20，率先以五門掀背車型登場。

身為Getz的準後繼車款，全新都會小車HYUNDAI i20與i20 i-Blue環保概念車，如先前所預報，在2008年巴黎車展首演，並且將以2009年式新車身份在歐洲與韓國上市。原廠表示，歐規i20五門掀背將會率先登場，至於歐規i20三門掀背，預計是在2009年一月份。

i20全車系，汽油引擎動力將包括1.2升引擎（最大馬力75hp）、1.4升引擎（最大馬力100hp）、1.6升引擎（最大馬力126hp），柴油引擎動力則包括1.4升CRDi引擎（依調校不同最大馬力分別75hp或90hp）、1.6升CRDi引擎（依調校不同最大馬力分別115hp或128hp）。其中，i20全車系配備五速手自排變速箱，1.6升CRDi引擎搭配六速手排變速箱，1.4升或1.6升引擎另可選配四速自排變速箱。
至於同樣在2008巴黎車展現身的i20 Blue環保概念車，動力源自1.4升CRDi引擎，可做出平均油耗26.6km/L，展現不同凡響的節能風範。
