    柴力雄厚,HYUNDAI發表新世代柴油引擎R-Engine!

韓國HYUNDAI日前發表一款最新的柴油引擎R-Engine,為來將以2.0升與2.2升兩種級距進攻現今以德國與法國車廠較佔優勢的柴油引擎市場,2.0升R-Engine可輸出最大馬力181hp與峰值扭力39.97kgm,而2.2升更可輸出最大馬力197.2hp與峰值扭力44.45kgm,性能直逼現今市場中的多數的V6引擎。

R-Engine的完成,受惠於第三代共軌系統與能夠以1800bar的高壓將燃料直噴進入汽缸內的電子壓力噴油嘴,提供前所未有的準確角度與控制;加上電子式可變幾何渦輪增壓系統與引擎控制單位的配合,將柴油引擎效能提升至前所未有的境界,而柴油過濾器採雙層式的設計,讓R-Engine在廢氣排放方面也符合Euro-5的環保標準。

另外一方面,全鋁合金打造16汽門雙凸輪軸的R-Engine在內部靜音正時鍊條的帶動下,減震與降低噪音有長足的提升,再補上較低的強化平衡軸設計、獨立的皮帶輪、塑膠蓋與塑膠機油濾清器,以達輕量化的效果; HYUNDAI-KIA研發部門總裁Hyun-Soon Lee表示:「R-Engine證明了HYUNDAI品牌的柴油研發能力是世界等級,就在柴油成為市場中較為環保與效率的燃料的此時,HYUNDAI已經站穩腳步準備好最先進的柴油引擎科技來應付日漸增長的柴油動力需求。」

在HYUNDAI研發R-Engine的42個月過程中,已有超過500具原型引擎以不同的調較經歷性能、廢氣測試與NVH(震動噪音性能)耐久測試,以及結合了機油潤滑的研究,最終得配置於實車上以模擬的駕駛情況來試驗出引擎最可靠的數據;R-Engine將於2009年進入量產階段,根據HYUNDAI表示,首批引擎將使用在新款SUV與大型房車上。
