身為Getz的準後繼車款，全新都會小車HYUNDAI i20在2008年巴黎車展首演，按照原廠規劃以2009年式新車身份在歐洲與韓國上市，而其歐規新車近日報價已公開，將從1.2升車型8,195英鎊起（約折合新台幣40.2萬）。
i20全車系，汽油引擎動力將包括1.2升引擎（最大馬力75hp）、1.4升引擎（最大馬力100hp）、1.6升引擎（最大馬力126hp），柴油引擎動力則包括1.4升CRDi引擎（依調校不同最大馬力分別75hp或90hp）、1.6升CRDi引擎（依調校不同最大馬力分別115hp或128hp）。其中，i20全車系配備五速手自排變速箱，1.6升CRDi引擎搭配六速手排變速箱，1.4升或1.6升引擎另可選配四速自排變速箱。
所有的i20系列車款，皆會將空調系統、全車六具SRS防護氣囊、主動式安全頭枕、中控鎖、前電動車窗與Aux-In外部音源連接裝置，列為標準配備。原廠表示，歐規i20五門掀背問世之後，歐規i20三門掀背，預計將在2009年一月份登場。
