    HYUNDAI美國優惠專案出新招!

上個月在美國銷售巨幅下滑的南韓車廠HYUNDAI,為了挽救頹勢,專為美國消費者量身打造專屬的優惠專案,內容明確指出,若消費者在買了車之後,不幸遭遇裁員風波,將可以無條件的退還新車。此方案只適用於購買新車後為期一年的時間。

美國汽車市場受到信貸緊縮、消費者信心下滑的打擊,已陷入二十幾年來景氣最低迷的時間點。HYUNDAI在星期一公佈的12月銷售報告中顯示,12月HYUNDAI在美國的銷售量跌落48%,下滑幅度之大,僅次於泥足深陷的美國車廠CHRYSLER。若排除大型車款的銷售量,HYUNDAI的汽車銷售量足足下滑51.3%。

此外,消費者還能在另一種情況下無條件歸還汽車,那就是「生活遭遇鉅變」,破產、調職到國外、意外死亡也都包括在內。這樣的方案到時候是否會引發爭議,就不得而知了。「我們試圖主動向消費者展現善意,誠心地解決造成汽車市場低迷的主要原因,那就是消費者缺乏信心。」HYUNDAI美國行銷副總David Zuchowski在接受路透社訪問時坦言。

事實上HYUNDAI採取的應對措施,確實有所根據。為求刺激消費,美國汽車市場上的優惠專案花樣百出,但無論內容有多吸引人,對於擔心會失業的消費者來說,很難跨出付錢買車的那一步,HYUNDAI現在所實施的專案或許並非毫無瑕疵,但站在客觀的角度來看,卻也化解了大部分消費者最大的隱憂。當失業、破產的陰影不再,買車的行為也不足以構成威脅。
