    再開低價戰略,HYUNDAI前進日本巴士/商用車市場

早年以低價策略成功開將闢土、並成為全球第五大車廠的韓國HYUNDAI,不僅受到消費者認同,價格上也與對手不相上下,且在北美與歐洲更推出大獲好評的高級車,如今HYUNDAI這種低價戰略也運用在商用車和巴士上,企圖在「愛國主義」濃厚的日本市場以低於日系同級對手的價格來奠定基礎。

這回HYUNDAI在日本發表的大型觀光巴士Unverse,是HYUNDAI在2006年先於韓國推出的大型巴士世界戰略車種,一開始僅限於韓國市場銷售,爾後逐漸推展到歐洲、亞洲及其他國家,引進日本的Unverse,為韓國HYUNDAI針對當地需求的特製右駕版,內部空間和座椅都相當寬敞,並可依照需求配置獨立吸頂式DVD螢幕。

HYUNDAI Unverse的最大特徵,在於直六12344cc POWERTEC柴油引擎符合日本「平成17年新長期排放廢氣標準」,同時也通過嚴苛的歐盟五期環保,並可發揮425hp/1800rpm最大馬力,與193kgm/1200rpm最大扭力。基本價格從日幣2500萬圓(約新台幣758萬元)起跳的Unverse,比起日本同級車款還便宜數百萬圓,且油耗上也有不錯的表現,這對觀光旅遊業者來說的確是省錢的好選擇。

此外,HYUNDAI在日本的總代理HYUNDAI MOTOR Japan也成立商用車部門,希望在不景氣的年代能以低價取勝。
