HYUNDAI Genesis入選KBB十大性能四缸引擎車款

有「得獎機器」之稱的HYUNDAI Genesis自上市以來獲得大小獎項不斷，近日又再度錦上添花於光榮紀錄上再添一筆：從1926年創立以來長期提供美國消費者新車和二手車資訊，在這方面頗具權威性的Kelley Blue Book(KBB)日前封Genesis為十大性能四缸車之一！
Genesis擁有210hp最大動力輸出，採取後輪驅動，配置2.0L渦輪四缸引擎的coupe幾乎擁有不下於六缸引擎車款的油耗表現,，是獲得KBB青睞的原因之一。
HYUNDAI北美產品計畫部門經理Scott Margason表示：「我們認為Genesis Coupe 2.0T提供消費者目前市場主流的前驅車款的另一種選擇，Genesis的表現與價值和汽缸數量都證明了『少即是多』的這句口頭禪。」
KBB專業編輯群所評選出的「十大性能四缸車」充分顯示出21世紀所不同於20世紀的獨特思維。在日漸高漲的油價壓力之下，迫使車商把焦點轉到四缸引擎、可變氣門與燃油直噴技術的整合上。
KBB執行編輯兼市場分析師Jack R.Nerad表示：「或許有很多消費者會對許多性能優異的新車卻只搭載了四個汽缸感到訝異，不過在這油價高漲的年代，誰不希望能省點油錢呢？」
2010年式的Genesis除了獲此殊榮之外，在之前也被KBB列為退稅金額最高的前十大車款，的確不負「得獎機器」的封號。
