HYUNDAI Veloster第四季引進確定，1.6 NA還是1.6 Turbo？最後評估階段中！

2011年正式發表的Veloster，是HYUNDAI展現最新設計概念和造車工藝的結晶，總代理有意在2012年引進台灣，卻因為諸多因素遲至2013年底，而原先在本地銷售的動力規格為1.6L自然進氣引擎，現在則可能全面翻盤，改以強悍的渦輪增壓取代，當然售價肯定會更高…。
原本總代理有意引進的Veloster，為搭載1.6L直列四缸直噴自然進氣汽油引擎，可輸出132hp/6300rpm馬力與16.1kgm/4850rpm扭力的配置，並搭配六速手自排變速箱，雖說驅策起尺碼4220×1790×1399mm與車重1230kg的Veloster頗為輕鬆，並能兼顧性能及油耗表現。但即使Veloster有著出色外型，以及足以成為話題的三門設計，但動力上似乎沒有太大吸引力，也因此總代理評估Veloster Turbo引進的可行性，這意味自然進氣可能將從計畫中出局。
基本上Veloster Turbo所搭載的Gamma 1.6 T-GDI直列四缸渦輪增壓汽油引擎，在導入了雙渦流增壓、缸內直噴、雙CVVT可變氣門正時等技術之後，讓動力輸出達到204hp/6000rpm馬力與27.0kgm/1750rpm扭力，這具全新引擎是HUYNDAI Blue Drive計畫成果之一，最大的特色在於低轉速時能夠確實減低耗油，並進一步減少排放量，有著市區約11.42km/L、高速16.07km/L的油耗表現，並已通過嚴苛的美國加州ULEV-2與歐盟Euro5排放法規。而六速自排將列為引進車款的標準配置。除了動力上的變動，既然都換成渦輪增壓，那麼外觀造型勢必要配得上性能，因此空力套件、跑車運動化內裝等也都一併納入清單中。
倘若Veloster Turbo引進後將以VW Golf GTI為頭號假想敵，據說身價可能會達130-150萬元左右，比起自然進氣版要貴上許多，但看在性能增加72hp/15.9kgm的份上，價格高肯定值得。至於何時會確認引進？猜測最快要等到6月左右就會決定，否則要經過漫長的認證過程，絕對來不及趕在第四季上市。
