    2014紐約車展搶先報:旗艦上身,HYUNDAI新世代Sonata 4月見

在HYUNDAI的產品編制當中除了頂級旗艦Genesis之外,擔任中堅角色的Sonata更是以中大型房車的定位身披跑格外觀搶奪各國市場,對於Mazda6、TOYOTA Camry甚至是HONDA Accord等一同角逐美國銷售市場大餅,歷經6個世代、款款幾乎都6至7年的改款周期來看,新世代的車型也即將於今年正式發表。

在「Fluidic Sculpture 2.0」流體雕塑2.0發表之後,第一款作品新世代Genesis呈現出以往HYUNDAI家族所沒有的氣派車格,碩大方正的車頭、銳利的電眼頭燈和俐落分明的車身線條,不僅跳脫亞洲車廠一貫柔和的設計主軸,更往歐、美車廠靠攏,也意圖向原先的競爭對手們進行切割以創造更好的銷售成績。

隨著新世代Genesis在南韓首爾進行全球首演後,目前擁有5年產品週期的Sonata也即將邁入新世代改款的時程,不過並非我們或是外媒所推測,這次反而是HYUNDAI自行公佈最新的改款消息,新世代的車款確定將在4月18日至27日的紐約車展中亮相,不過就細節的部份原廠拒絕透露,僅僅發布了兩張外觀及內裝的設計草圖提供參考。

透過外觀,新世代Sonata確實流有許多流體雕塑2.0的設計語彙,包含像是6角型大面積水箱護罩、後掠式的頭燈設計配上LED日間型車燈,將原本的頗具跑格外型再輔以豪華氣氛升級,內裝的部份看起來雖然還是屬於概念形式,但就與現行款的鋪陳相比是少了一點流線,但卻大器了許多,細部而言看似有些遊艇的設計概念;動力的部份推測將會和現行的Veloster看齊,以Gamma 1.6L T-GDI直四渦輪增壓引擎取代目前的2.4L直四自然進氣動力單元,最大馬力來到201hp/6000rpm與27.0kgm/1750rpm峰值扭力,油耗表現預估將有市區11.42km/L、高速16.07km/L的表現。
