前衛、動感卻短命，HYUNDAI Elantra Coupe退出美北市場

2014年7月美國HYUNDAI因應市場調整發表新年式Elantra，新增車輛外觀顏色可選數量以及更多的內裝套件可選配，提升產品銷售實力。不過令人好奇的是，源自相同底盤而來的Elantra Coupe卻沒有在這次新年式更新的名單上，美國HYUNDAI網站目前也停於「2014年式」的簡介，看來 Elantra Coupe似乎在美國將結束短暫的銷售週期。
發表於2012年美國芝加哥車展的Elantra Coupe，可是Elantra車系中第三種衍生車型（Elantra Sedan、Elantra GT、Elantra Coupe），並延續HYUNDAI當時知名的Fluidic sculpture流體雕塑設計，以及4540×1775×1435mm、軸距2700mm的車身尺碼，和四門房車相比下兩者並沒有太多差異，但外貌卻因雙門的設計更顯動感。
不過Elantra Coupe的雙門跑車設計，並沒有在美國帶來出色的銷量成績，現行因為當地還存有些許庫存，因此美國官網上仍繼續提供2014 Elantra Coupe的介紹並直到賣完為止，結束這輛車僅短短2年的銷售時光。至於韓國當地（稱Avante Coupe），目前則還沒有取消此車型販售的消息。
無論韓國還是美國市場，現行Elantra Coupe皆搭載一具排氣量1999c.c.直列四缸GDI燃油直噴引擎，擁有175hp/6500rpm最大馬力與21.3kgm/4700rpm峰值扭力輸出，並匹配SHIFTRONIC六速自排變速系統。而Elantra Coupe目前於美國當地的售價只要19600美元起，實惠的價格也將成為市場上的絕響之作。
