    劍指TOYOTA Prius?FORD、HYUNDAI不約而同發展Plug-in Hybrid車型

自1997年TOYOTA正式發表全球首款Hybrid車型-Prius開始,變奠定日系車廠在次世代能源車款的發展走向,那便就是朝向FCEV的終極目標邁進,但在此之前Prius歷經3個世代、衍伸3款車型的規模來看,其實早已成了市場規模的最大占有者,其他眾家車廠就算苦苦追趕也難以撼動其地位。

但是,佔據美系霸主一方的FORD,以及領著全球第5大汽車集團旗幟的HYUNDAI,無獨有偶的傳出將發展針對TOYOTA Prius相同級距而來的車型與之對抗,其中HYUNDAI更早已備妥多輛Elantra GT原型測試車進行大規模的路試,預計2015年下半年就能上市。

至於FORD的部份也不甘示弱,據消息傳出原廠內部已成立一個代號為C240的開發專案,並將配合新世代Focus和Escape所使用的C2共用平台量身打造一套可供多方運用的Plug-in Hybrid系統,但實際的產品將可望在2018年時隨新世代車型現身。

不過相較於這兩間車廠現有的車型,其實都已經有多款具備Hybrid身分的產品,諸如FORD的Fusion Hybrid、C-MAX Hybrid,以及HYNDAI的Sonata Hybrid等,而這兩間車廠也多有純電能的技術背景,要做出Plug-in Hyrid車款難度應不會太高,而終究在FCEV以發展成熟的當下是否還需復合動力產品看來還須待市場機制決定。
