    HYUNDAI 考慮在印度生產小型純電動休旅車

印度政府曾在今年 5 月發表了一項關於電動車的重要政策,要將國內所有車輛逐步汰換成電動車,預計到 2032 年全國境內所有車輛都會是電動車。韓國車商 HYUNDAI 似乎是看準了這項商機,有計畫將印度生產小型的純電休旅車,同時也考慮引進純電版的Grand i10 與 i20。

事實上,當今印度電動車市場競爭相當激烈,除了中國車商比亞迪與長安汽車對這塊市場感興趣外,本地的 TATA 以及 MAHINDRA 也正積極研發純電動車款。HYUNDAI 印度的產品開發人員 Koo 表示,電動車將會是我們在印度研發的重點,我們將遵循當地政府的政策與規範。

就印度市場而言,小型車比較受到市場歡迎,像是我們旗下的 Grand i10 與 i20。但 KOO 話鋒一轉補充說道,HYUNDAI 在全球性的電動車生產技術,至於要不要再印度設廠生產電動車,我想必須等到初步探勘後才能下定論。

印度政府打算在 2030 年前將印度境內的車輛全轉換成純電動車,這計劃看起來似乎野心勃勃,甚至是不切實際。目前某些汽車產業與零組件生產商仍舊看好燃油車的發展,認為短時間內要達到完全電動化是天方夜譚。

Koo 表示,印度政府的目標看起來很困難,同時也需要一個強大的基礎設施,像是電動汽車充電站來支持這項計畫。
