根據最新消息指出，HYUNDAI目前已經在韓國當地的高速公路上，啟動第一次的自動駕駛重型商業車結隊路測， 這項路測已經通過包括韓國國土資源、基礎設施部與交通省的批准，而系統藉由AI與智慧通訊技術，現了商業車隊互聯，車上更配置攝影鏡頭、雷達與光達等傳感器，同時藉由衛星導航定位系統，提供即時路況資訊與自動駕駛系統的精確度，HYUNDAI表示即使遇上天候不佳導致視線不良，依舊可以讓車輛完成車道變換的動作。
HYUNDAI表示，由Xcient Trago所打造的自動駕駛車隊，藉由AI人工智慧與先進通訊技術等，系統會藉由內建的路線圖，以提升商業車隊行車安全與自動駕駛系統執行的精確度。
此外，這項計畫更獲得包括韓國國土資源、基礎設施部與交通省（Ministry of Land,Infrastructure ,and Transport）的批准，而且結隊更可降低大型商業車行駛時所面對的正面風阻，更可有效提升動力運作效能，而長時間維持恆速與車間距離，也可降低行駛時的平均油耗。
首批商業車自動駕駛結隊路測，率先於韓國嶺東高速公路（Yeongdong Expressway）執行，另外韓國交公布更計畫分階段推動研發，目標希望藉由自動駕駛技術，提升該國境內的物流與運輸配送管理效能。
