    寒冬也不怕續航力流失,HYUNDAI與KIA發表電動熱泵新技術

2014年,KIA首次推出Soul電動車款,而從當時開始,便與HYUNDAI聯合在電動車上面導入了「熱泵」技術;近幾年來,品牌也仍在改進這個技術,讓電動車在效能運用方面能夠更不浪費能源,而近日,挪威汽車聯合會(NAF;Norwegian Automobile Federation)也在Kona Electric電動車上面進行冬季測試,證明這個新技術的優點。

能夠實現新型熱泵技術的高效率特點,主要就是因為可從各項零組件當中收集廢熱,也就是多餘的、隨著引擎與馬達運轉時所產生的熱能;兩家車廠也表示,第一個熱泵將從電動模組部分獲取熱源,這部分就包括了電動馬達、逆變器、以及車載充電器;另外,電池組以及基本的充電裝置也都是熱能來源,廣泛來說,只要會牽涉到熱能的組件都包含在內;同時,車廠工程師則通過電動原型車來進行低溫測試,並設法進一步改良這個技術,而車廠也表示,除了能夠證明熱泵的效率高,電池能量密度更將能夠提高35%。

最後,韓國環境部也做了一項相關研究,指出HYUNDAI Kona Electric及KIA Niro兩台電動車款在零下7度C的溫度下,替車款保留了高達90%的續航力,在寒冷情況之下進行相同測試時,其他沒有搭載熱泵技術的電動車,續航力跌幅則從18%到高達43%的都有。
