    氫燃料電池電動車戰爭已悄悄開打,HYUNDAI Nexo搶先在澳洲註冊車隊

鋰電池電動車雖然是目前電動車發展當中的主流趨勢,但其他如氫燃料電池以及固態電池等,各汽車製造商也都有投入相關資源進行開發。但即便氫燃料電池不是當今主流,爭奪市場先機的戰爭也已經悄悄開打。日前HYUNDAI Nexo氫燃料電池電動車成為澳洲首都特區政府的公務車,使HYUNDAI成為第一個在澳洲註冊氫燃料電池電動車車隊,並且能夠順利上路運行的品牌。

事實上,HYUNDAI與TOYOTA在澳洲正開啟了一場無聲的戰爭,雙方都在爭取當地各地區政府選擇自家的氫燃料電池車。不過HYUNDAI成功成為第一個在澳洲註冊氫燃料電池車車隊的品牌。除了澳洲首都特區政府擁有20輛規模的Nexo,並且已經在3月份正式上路,昆士蘭州政府也將會擁有5輛Nexo。至於競爭對手TOYOTA,則是會在維多利亞州以20輛Mirai來進行測試。

對比傳統鋰電池在續航力與充電池間過長方面的問題,氫燃料電池僅需5分鐘的加氫時間,顯然更貼近於現今燃油車款的用車習慣,但氫燃料電池要成為主流卻得面對加氫站過少的考驗,而這問題的背後還得牽涉到加氫站的安全性考量。也因此,目前除了HYUNDAI在雪梨總部有加氫站、TOYOTA也有自己的機動加氫站之外,未來在坎培拉與墨爾本還會新設立四座加氫站。
