現代汽車7月15日將推出全新N跑車，今日公布最新預告圖透露它和品牌現役車款風格大不同

現代汽車（HYUNDAI）今年以來，新車攻勢接連不斷今日品牌在社群平台上預告將推出一款神秘車型，雖然預告圖裡的車子仍覆蓋著布幔，但它的輪廓看起來和現代汽車現役任何一輛新車，有著相當大的不同，在布幔下，隱約可見到車尾有著一個超大擾流翼。另外，現代汽車也預告了上周才亮相的Ioniq 6的後續新車型。

現代汽車的性能化部門N ，訂於7月15日將推出一款新車型，做為此一性能化品的年度車聚 N Day活動的一部分。這款神秘的新車在全球首映前，品牌選在社群平台上進行預覽，全車被布幔包包裹，並放在光線昏暗的倉庫中，而預告圖只讓車子最最獨特的部分特徵加以顯示。那就是車尾特大的擾流翼，另外，它有著棱角分明的輪廓，還有低趴傾斜的引擎蓋，並有看起來特長的軸距，顯示這款全新的高性能車款，將和現代品牌現役車款截然不同。
現代汽車曾表示，2022 年的 N Day將用「傳統展望 N 品牌的未來」，除此之外，品牌就不再透露任何有關該新車款型的任何細節。 同樣地，在現代汽車的社群網站上，原廠還發布另一張預告圖，顯示上周才正式發表的全新電動房車 Ioniq 6的後續車型，它也安裝了一個大型類似賽車規格的尾翼，這暗示著Ioniq 6的N性能化版本也即將推出。
現代汽車為重品牌形象，更要進軍歐洲市場，同時與歐系品牌一較長短，近年所有新車多半都是在位於德國法蘭克福的歐洲設計中心負責操刀，此一設計中心也獲得更多的主導權，來開發最適合歐洲地區的新車。Genesis、Hyundai和KIA三品牌歐洲研發主管 Tyrone Johnson曾向媒體透露，我們在歐洲業務非常成功，以至於我們獲得了更多自主開發的機會。
N性能品牌目前現代在電動車之外的另一業務重點，2021年，該公司共有30個計畫正在進行中，包括開發全新的現代 i20 N、現代Kona N和現代Elantra N。 Tyrone Johnson曾任福特 Performance RS 性能化部門的總工程師，於 2018 年加入現代汽車集團。此後，他幫助整合了多個歐洲測試站。
Tyrone Johnson表示，該公司計劃將其紐柏林開發測試場地的規模擴大一倍，這對其N品牌的車款來說是個好的起頭。
