現代汽車預告將在2025年洛杉磯車展推出硬派越野戰力的Crater概念休旅車

因為市場搶手，現今各車廠都全力搶進跨界休旅車市場，打造一些看似越野實力很強的車款，配備厚重的葉子板和一些純粹裝飾的下護板，甚至配備性能一般的全地形輪胎，不過現代汽車（HYUNDAI）車廠卻是少數真正投入，努力打造硬底子的越野休旅車的車廠，現代將於 11月21至30日登場的2025年洛杉磯車展中發表一台全新的概念休旅車Crater，它具備現代XRT越野改裝品牌的越野實力，將挑戰北美市場的最暢銷的越野休旅，如Ford Bronco 和 Jeep Wrangler。
現代汽車公布的Crater設計草圖，顯示這台車具備粗獷強悍的外觀，並配備大腳的全地形輪胎，現代汽車稱這台全新怪獸概念車是「一款結合能力與堅韌性的小型越野休旅車」。它的設計概念是源自於「極端環境的啟發」，設計的目標是要捕捉冒險精神。從設計草圖看，看 似50吋的巨大輪胎，到車頂上的四燈罩LED輔助燈條，顯示這是一台非常美式風味的小型SUV。Crater概念車在草圖中看起來像怪獸卡車，具備誇張的輪胎和輪圈，這台概念車應該屬於一台用來挑戰開放式沙漠賽道或像Baja 500這樣的越野挑戰活動的戰鬥車輛。
