HYUNDAI正與德國M-BENZ洽談動力技術合作事宜！

隨著韓國最大汽車集團HYUNDAI不斷擴張其事業版圖，為了提升旗下車款在動力技術的表現，日前已經確定由韓國HYUNDAI集團派出的代表，已經與德國高級汽車品牌M-BENZ就引擎合作進行溝通。
由於在DAIMLER CHRYSLER集團時期，在北美CHRYSLER Group就與包括HYUNDAI-KIA與日本MITSUBISHI Motors三家公司，合資建立所謂全球引擎製造聯盟（GEMA- Global Engine Manufacturing Alliance）的平台，即使目前CHRYSLER Group已經轉手給澤普世財務管理公司，在北美洲的這項合作計畫依舊有效，但對於亟欲在短期內達成遠大目標的HYUNDAI來說還不夠。
根據我們率先取得的消息顯示，不久前DAIMLER集團總裁 Dr. Dieter Zetsche，在2008北京國際車展時就積極與HYUNDAI集團接觸，而且也對外表示，雙方已經就技術層次比GEMA聯盟更高的動力技術合作，將在不久之後可望成形，在今年HYUNDAI推出進軍全球高級車級距的Genesis之後，HYUNDAI也將在2010年代推出進軍全球的高級汽車品牌，所以在動力技術方面，HYUNDAI也希望這項合作計畫儘速達成，以提供發展高級品牌所需的動力配置。
