2008巴黎車展報導：HYUNDAI i20 Blue展現柴油小車環保風範

i20 Blue外觀設計與初登場的i20並無二致，但是選擇了水藍色烤漆塗裝與帶有Blue字樣的水滴造型圖案，用以突顯其環保節能本領。

因為油價太貴了，消費者將購車目標轉往Crossover與小型車，於是我們在2008巴黎車展，見到全新都會小車HYUNDAI i20全球首演。為了進一步展現HYUNDAI對於環保車款的發展決心，於是Sante Fe Blue Hybrid與i20 Blue有了登場亮相的機會。

i20 Blue裝配更具經濟油耗表現的變速箱、空氣流體力學表現、米其林低滾動阻力輪胎、底盤也重新進行設定，達到降低二氧化碳排放與提升經濟油耗表現雙重環保節能訴求。

i20 Blue動力源自1.4升CRDi柴油引擎，可輸出最大馬力90hp，峰值扭力22.4kgm，搭載全新開發的六速手排變速箱，取代了原先HYUNDAI車款常用的五速手排變速箱，並且在新變速箱的第三、四、五檔，進行更為省油的齒比調配。再加上引擎也使用了新的電腦供油程式、使用讓引擎減少摩擦的機油，導入ISG怠速停等引擎自動熄火/啟動裝置，全然是為了省油與性能兼具的表現。
根據原廠測試結果顯示，i20 Blue與將上市的i20相較，二氧化碳排放量將可有效減少15％達到99g/km，更能同時將油耗表現提升至26.6km/L。i20 Blue的0-100 km/h起步加速約13秒可完成，極速則達到176km/h。
