2008洛杉磯車展報導：HYUNDAI發表環保節能新世代油電混合動力系統！

不久之前，我們曾經報導過，HYUNDAI集團未來數年將在替代能源領域全力發展，而且目標是希望與日系替代能源領導集團的 TOYOTA與HONDA一較長短！

HYUNDAI集團在會場上正式發表全名為Hybrid Blue Drive Architecture的新世代油電混合動力系統
|
在剛剛開幕的本屆2008洛杉磯北美國際車展上，HYUNDAI集團在會場上正式發表全名為Hybrid Blue Drive Architecture的新世代油電混合動力系統，而且這套系統未來將由明年開始陸續導入量產車系，我們也曾經報導過，明年HYUNDAI品牌將率先發表量產的Accent與 Elantra車系上增列的油電混合動力車型，爾後在2010年式全新大改款的美規中大型房車Sonata與Azera大型房車，也將陸續推出量產版本的油電混合動力新車，連同旗下的KIA品牌也將予以跟進。
此外，在本屆2008洛杉磯北美國際車展上首度發表的這套系統，其核心是一具功率相當於最大馬力40hp的電動馬達，而且其峰值扭力更達到20.9kgm的水準，相當於搭載於中大型房車系列的汽油Theta II 系列引擎，或是Theta 系列的2.0升汽油缸內直噴渦輪增壓引擎，但這具馬達未來可是將與前述二具傳統引擎結合，藉由新世代的油電混合動力管理系統，讓整體的綜效發揮極致。
另外在本系統中還率先導入了一具新世代的鋰電池，取代傳統的鋰錳電池，不僅密度更高而且能源效率也大為提昇，HYUNDAI相信這套系統可以比目前許多業者所採用的Stop-Start暫停熄火/ 起步啟動的系統具備更高的系統耐用度與效益。
藉由這套系統導入量產車款，並且正式讓整車在市場上發售，2010年時HYUNDAI 旗下生產的量產新車，平均油耗將可達到每公升燃油行駛14.8公里的目標，此外在本屆車展會場上，原廠也發表一組將用在下一代大改款美規Sonata房車系列的油電混合動力系統配置。
