    不讓Model X獨秀,HYUNDAI預計在2018年推出多功能運動電能休旅

2016年起大舉三方布局(豪華、性能、節能)的韓國HYUNDAI Group,繼續2016年初陸續釋出Ioniq Hybrid、Ioniq Electric以及Ioniq Plug-in Hybrid車輛規格,並在日內瓦車展一同亮相後,HYUNDAI汽車將用Ioniq單一車款、三種不同車型(複合動力、純電動車、插電式複合動力)滿足各市場節能需求的目標相當明顯,只是這樣真的就足夠了嗎?

來韓國當地媒體的報導,表示HYUNDAI汽車看見TESLA Model X額外的平價商機,日前也表示將在2018年推出旗下第一款多功能運動電能休旅。而知情人士指出,這輛目前正於韓國Namyang R&D Center研發中心緊密開發的電能休旅,將不會使用Ioniq底盤平台衍伸而來,因為HYUNDAI汽車打算持續擴充電動車陣容。

只是,就單從Ioniq Electric目前僅有的180km續航里程來看,HYUNDAI電能休旅在未來能否具備出色的競爭力。對此,原廠目標則是擺放在單次充電可行駛320km的效率,相比Ioniq Electric還要高出近一倍,不過面對TESLA Model X基本車型75D的237miles(約381.3km)續航表現仍稍嫌遜色些,但車輛售價將會是最大的武器。

要打造電能休旅,對HYUNDAI汽車其實並非難事,因為早在2005年時HYUNDAI就已經開始投入Tucson FCEV(或稱ix35 FCEV、ix35 Fuel Cell)發展,到現在不僅趨近成熟,更預計在幾年後進入新世代車型。縱使轉換動力的來源不同,但兩者皆有電動馬達以及電池模組架構,不僅可並行發展,甚至還能共享架構。
