2020 CES展搶先報：HYUNDAI現代汽車將在CES發表飛行汽車和新款無人車

在發展自駕車和電動車的同時，各大企業也競相投入飛行汽車的研發，主流車廠如賓士所屬的戴姆勒（DAIMLER），以至於TOYOTA，一些新創公司和移動出行公司如Uber等，也在開發飛行汽車，而現代汽車集團在這場 飛天大賽中顯也沒有缺席。現代汽車（HYUNDAI）本周宣布將在2020年1月7日揭幕的2020 CES消費電子展中，透過他們規畫以人為本的未來智慧移動解決方案，來呈現未來城市的願景，同時也將為未來城市通勤人士，發表兩款飛行汽車。
關於這兩台飛行汽車的科技內涵，現代汽車並沒有做太深入的描述，僅表示兩台飛行器PAV和PBV，和交通樞紐連接，可以豐富未來城市通勤者的移動生活。所謂的PAV，指的是個人空中載具（ Personal Air Vehicle），是現規畫的都會空中移動（UAM，Urban Air Mobility）的一部分，它將有助紓緩都市交通的壅塞，並且讓城市通勤者可以獲得時間品質。
現代汽車所規畫未來城市交通，還有所謂的PBV，它指的是目的性專用車輛（Purpose Built Vehicle），一種具備高度客制化概念，同時結合自動駕功能的載具，車子將不只是一種交通工具，可以完全依個人需求，提供無限的可能。按俳現代汽車所說，這兩種智慧移動載具，未來將和城市的一個個轉運中心連結在一起，這樣的中心將會分布在整個城市裡，它也會是未來城市的社區公共空間。至於都會移動與兩台載具的細節，要等到1月6日的展前記者會才會發布。
現代汽車投入飛行汽車的研發，其來有自，本月稍早，現代汽車就已宣布將投資520億美元，實現「未來出行行業的領先者」的遠大目標，並已展開挖角，找來美國太空總署的許多專家，組成研發團，在2025年之前實現從「汽車製造商」轉型為「智能出行解決方案提供商」的供應者。
