現代汽車在北美累積36年銷售量達到 1500 萬輛號的全新映里程碑

2022年已近尾聲，現代汽車（Hyundai）北美分公司用一個數字"1500萬"，為2022年畫上一個驚嘆號，現代汽車 12月間在美國賣出第1500萬台新車，那是一台由紐約州威廉斯維爾（Williamsville）的經銷商售出的Tucson休旅。
如果你看過電影熊麻吉（Ted），應該記得電影的泰廸熊曾嘲諷現代汽車的品質，韓車的品質不良，那已是過去式，今日現代汽車在全球各主要汽車費市場，大獲好評，以美國為例，美國消費者購車必看的消費者指南（Consumer Guide’s），最近才公布 2023 年最佳購買獎（Best Buy），現代汽車旗下的2023 年式Venue、Santa Fe和Ioniq 5等車款都上榜，獲選的車款都代表著車子在各項評選都能拿到高分，包括需求特性、性能、空間、燃油經濟性、可靠性和中古轉售的殘值。
現代在北美設第一個據點始於 1986 年 2 月 20 日，迄今36個年頭，當年現代靠著一台小型車Excel打天下，成為美國芙學校園最暢的車款，只因它便宜，讓剛鎮滿18歲的孩子們拿來練車， 但Excel品質確實不佳，瑕疵頗多，但它和當年其他任何品牌同級車相比，它創下了在美國開展業務的第一年銷售最多汽車的記錄；1986 年的總銷量為 168,882 輛。而如今的現代車早已脫胎換骨，不只是造型設計，以至性表現，都有一定的水準，
現代汽車美國分公司執行長Randy Parker表示，我想不出比慶祝我們在美國銷售第 1500 萬輛現代車更好的方式來結束 2022 年。在過去的 36 年裡，現代汽車擴大了其產品組合、在美國的製造足跡和市場占有率，成為今年銷量第五高的品牌。我們很高興看到 2023 年及以後的增長，尤其是我們正持續擴大電動車產品線和製造規模。
