現代汽車將贊助FUTSAL大會用車

預計今年11月21日至12月5日舉行的2004 FIFA世界盃五人制足球錦標賽，屆時將有來自全世界六個分區，十六個國家代表隊球員將在台灣大學綜合體育館、國立體育學院綜合體育館林口展開激烈對決，是FIFA國際足球運動總會，最常舉辦的四個賽事之一。

足球運動一向在全球受到相當程度的歡迎，今年預計在台灣舉辦的賽事，是屬於FUTSAL的室內足球運動，相較於世界盃足球賽、女子足球賽及青年盃足球賽，FUTSAL雖然成員編制較小，但刺激度依然不減，相信五人制足球專業知識，將透過台北比賽的引導，讓國內掀起一股FUTSAL風潮。

韓國現代HYUNDAI汽車認為：「如果說世界上有什麼能將世界人民的心擰結在一起，那就是體育」。因此近年來HYUNDAI不僅透過體育活動來提高企業形象，更將邁入世界品牌之列。HYUNDAI表示，他們希冀將企業形象和足球運動的狂熱和激情融合，以更加弘揚其品牌價值。

今年中華台北突破困境，成功取得承辦2004 FIFA世界盃五人制足球錦標賽此項世界性的運動比賽，為此，HYUNDAI亦跨海請台灣技術合作夥伴，三陽南陽共同協助贊助2004 FIFA世界盃五人制足球錦標賽，提供大會比賽選手用車56輛（Santa Fe、Traject、XG、Elantra）。另外，在國內部分現代三陽亦先後提供Matrix、Elantra予『2003現代三陽臺北國際馬拉松』、『92年全國運動會』作為大會指定用車。由此可見HYUNDAI汽車熱愛足球體育運動，與南陽實業積極參與大型體育盛會的理念不謀而合，其重視體育公益活動的實力與熱誠，在未來將提供國內外更加完善的比賽環境。
