2008日內瓦車展報導：小改款轎旅HYUNDAI Matrix換上全新家族臉！

在HYUNDAI推出新世代命名法則的歐規新車i10與i30車系後，原有的中小型轎旅車Matrix車系，也在本屆2008日內瓦國際車展上，發表全新2009年式小改款新車，車頭造型也換上與i10及i30車系類似的全新家族風貌！
雖然推出已經有相當時間，不過這款小型轎旅車當初與義大利設計大師PININFARINA合作打造，也提供同尺碼小型車最多元化的空間利用迄今依舊是HYUNDAI乘用車旗下穩定銷售的產品，所以2009年式小改款除了維持原有多變空間的傳統外，導入了新世代i家族的設計風格，整車造型顯得更流線圓潤，而尾廂造型大體上維持原有的設計，側面原有高低斷差式窗線設計則有些許更動，讓側面線條顯得更為流暢。
歐規2009年式小改款HYUNDAI Matrix轎旅車，動力系統維持原有的配置，除了與台灣國產化現行銷售版本相同的入門1.6升與1.8升二具汽油直四16氣門引擎，最大馬力分別為103hp與123hp之外（同時提供五速手排或四速手自排兩用變速系統），另外在歐洲市場更提供搭配手排變速系統的1.5升CRDi共軌柴油引擎，不僅符合歐盟四期環保法規，更提供達到110hp的最大馬力輸出水準。
