2008 SEMA北美改裝車展搶先報：上市前奏曲！HYUNDAI RMR Genesis Coupe賽車首演

北美HYUNDAI為了提前幫全新豪華雙門轎跑車Genesis Coupe暖身，將推出北美HYUNDAI與RMR賽車改裝公司（Rhys Millen Racing），合力打造的HYUNDAI RMR“Art of Speed”Genesis Coupe。

一年一度的2008年SEMA北美改裝車展（Specialty Equipment Market Association），照例將於今年11月4日在美國拉斯維加斯展開，北美HYUNDAI為了提前幫全新豪華雙門轎跑車Genesis Coupe暖身，將推出北美HYUNDAI與RMR賽車改裝公司（Rhys Millen Racing），合力打造的HYUNDAI RMR“Art of Speed”Genesis Coupe。
RMR Genesis Coupe賽事車款，提前幫Genesis Coupe市售新車暖身
2010年式Genesis Coupe，預計於2009年第二季上市，而賽車版本RMR Genesis Coupe卻搶先一步現身。類似如此的原廠操作手法，日前也出現於新世代小跑車VW Scirocco身上，此車壇新生於今年五月份參加德國Nurburgring 24小時耐力賽，新車今年秋天才會上市。同樣地，RMR Genesis Coupe參賽目標也只有冠軍，並且可以立即參與Formula D或Redline Time Attack系列賽事。
專業車手Rhys Millen表示，先不論RMR Genesis Coupe整體戰力為何，光從車身烤漆塗裝與彩繪，再加上全車空力套件、黑色碳纖維後擾流尾翼、大尺碼輕量化鋁圈，便可呼應車名中的速度藝術意涵（Art of Speed）。
RMR Genesis Coupe動力源自2.0升DOHC直四引擎，雖然輸出馬力與峰值扭力未知，但是透過RMR引擎渦輪套件加持，絕對有超過200hp的輸出水準。搭配HKS賽車用變速箱、K&W跑車化短懸、BREMBO煞車系統、BRIDGESTONE Protenza RE-01性能胎等改裝品，車體經過輕量化工程設計，車室內裝配SPARCO方向盤與賽車桶型座椅，車身與底盤結構也經過強化，但原廠強調RMR Genesis Coupe，不折不扣是從Genesis Coupe改裝而來，兩者之間有著濃厚的血緣關係。
北美HYUNDAI副總裁John Krafcik表示，透過RMR與北美HYUNDAI的合作，這一款全新的後驅參賽車款RMR Genesis Coupe，將具備一定的競爭實力，也讓人期待RMR Genesis Coupe在賽道上的表現。
